What we do

Welcome

Come and join us for friendly group rides in the beautiful and quiet lanes of Sussex and Kent - with an all-important café stop!

We welcome cyclists of all abilities.

Regular Rides

We have regular rides on local roads. Sometimes going further afield or entering a sportive or Audax event. Our regular weekly rides usually begin in the area around Crowborough. On these rides club members usually group with others of a similar level, some riding electric bikes. We have 5 main categories to suit all abilities.

 Events

In a typical year we organise club-wide events. Some entice members to ride longer distances; some have an emphasis on the social side; some raise funds for charity.

As a member of the East Sussex Cycling Association, Wealden Cycle Club promotes its members’ participation in the time trials and reliability rides that the ESCA organises. We are affiliated to Cycling Time Trials.

We welcome new members

Our membership secretary  will explain how you can benefit from the reduced rate when you join Wealden Cycle Club. Membership of Cycling UK and British Cycling also gives you discounts at many bike shops. Club kit is available to purchase but by no means required.
